Meetings & Recordings

The demo was an hour. The summary is a minute.

Recordings from Zoom, Teams and Google Meet arrive on their own, transcribed and summarised, filed against the deal, and searchable by what was actually said in them.

Recordings arrive as the connection syncs, with the transcript behind them

What arrives

A recording is only useful once somebody has watched it.

Which is why almost nobody does. The list is built so a meeting can be understood, compared and acted on without opening the video at all.

Synced, not uploaded

Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Connect once, and each recording appears as your provider finishes it.

Transcribed and read

A summary and a sentiment on the row itself, so an hour is triaged from the list rather than from the player.

Filed against the deal

Every recording carries the record it belongs to, so the history of an account includes the meetings, not only the emails.

Favourites kept to hand

Starred recordings sit in their own band at the top, because burying something you deliberately kept in date order defeats the point of keeping it.

Insight templates

Ask every meeting the same questions.

A template runs against each conversation of a type and fills the same fields every time. Twelve discovery calls stop being twelve recordings and become a table you can sort by budget holder and objection.

  • Fields you define, extracted from the transcript
  • Applied to phone calls and meeting recordings alike
  • Comparable across the workspace, so patterns are visible
  • Editable, because the questions worth asking change

Booked, then recorded, then filed

One thread from the invitation to the follow-up.

The meeting is booked on the shared calendar against the deal, recorded by your own tool, and the summary lands back on the same deal. Nobody re-types anything, and nobody has to remember which account the call belonged to.

  • Events linked to the lead, deal or task they came from
  • Attendees shown, with external guests identified by their address
  • The summary written into the deal history as its own entry
  • Follow-up tasks raised from what was agreed

Where it lands

On the deal, in the history, attributed.

A recording that lives in a meeting tool is a file. A recording on the deal is context the next person to pick up that account inherits.

Notes

Four engineers plus Daniel. Enquiries currently arrive in three places, quotes live in a spreadsheet. Two jobs lost in June to missed follow-ups.

Filter by what happened

Provider, sentiment, whether it has a transcript, whose meeting it was. Narrow first, watch second.

Follow-ups raised

What was agreed becomes tasks against the deal, with a due date and an owner.

Retention you set

Kept as long as your workspace policy says. Recordings and transcripts never leave it.

Questions answered

About recordings, transcripts and consent.

Which meeting tools are supported?

Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. You connect the account once, and recordings sync across as they finish rather than needing anyone to upload a file.

Does Bloc CRM join my meetings?

No. There is no bot in the room and no extra participant on the invitation. Bloc CRM reads the recordings your own meeting tool has already made, under the permissions you granted when you connected the account.

Why are meetings kept apart from calls?

They are a different kind of conversation with a different rhythm: longer, scheduled, several people. Mixed into one list, a two-minute callback disappears under an hour-long demo. What they share is everything that happens after the recording, which is why the row and the detail page are identical.

What is an insight template?

A set of questions run against every conversation of a given type, so a discovery call always yields the same fields: budget holder, timeline, competitors, objections, next step. It turns a pile of recordings into something you can compare and filter.

Can I search what was said?

Yes. The search covers the transcripts, not just the titles, so you can find the meeting where somebody mentioned a competitor or a deadline without remembering which one it was.

How long are recordings kept?

For as long as the workspace's retention setting says, and no longer. Recordings and transcripts stay in your workspace, and the setting is yours to change.

Do participants know it is recorded?

The recording is made by your own meeting tool, which announces and consents to it under its own settings. Bloc CRM does not change that, and it does not record anything your provider has not already recorded.

Stop rewatching your own meetings.

Connect Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, hold one call, and read the summary instead. Setting it up takes about a minute.
