Why it is different

A list is only worth the calls that connect.

Bought lists age badly. Half the addresses bounce, a third of the numbers ring out, and you find out one call at a time. Verification is the whole point of this screen.

Open data first

Directory, mapping, registry, postal and sector records, each toggled on its own, each with a live count so you know what you are drawing from before you run anything. Your own provider accounts widen it where open data runs thin.

Checked on the way in

Email, phone and website verified per record. Failures are marked and kept, never quietly discarded.

Area, not guesswork

Search a town, a city or a radius. Results carry the trading area, so you are not quoting for a job three counties away.

Polite by default

Requests are rate-limited and identify themselves. Bloc CRM will not get your business blocked from a source you rely on.

The results

A table you can actually work from.

Verification against every channel, columns you control, filters that stick, and selection that does something useful. Turn twenty leads into twenty deals in one action.

  • A verification dot beside every email, number and website
  • Column visibility and saved views, yours or shared with the workspace
  • Bulk create deals, assign owners or add to a sequence
  • CSV in as well as out, with the same verification applied on import

Then ask about them

Four thousand leads, and one question.

A long list is only useful if you can interrogate it. The assistant reads the same table, along with the calls and email attached to it, and answers in sentences with each claim pointing back at the record it came from.

  • Which leads have gone quiet, and for how long
  • What a whole category of customer keeps objecting to
  • Answers cited against the records, so they can be checked
  • Or point your own AI tools at it through a scoped connection

Deals at risk this week

Which deals are at risk this week, and why?

Three deals need you today.

Rowan Tree Landscaping [S1] has had no reply for twelve days and its close date passed on Tuesday. The last thing sent was the estate grounds quote at $12,900.

Ashcombe Removals [S2] has been idle for eleven days. The only contact attempt since the search was a call nobody answered.

Northgate Electrical [S3] is live but waiting: the co-director asked for phased pricing on Tuesday and nothing has gone back.

And the ones that come to you

Searching is only half of it.

Businesses in the Matchouse ecosystem also receive enquiries from people actively looking for the work, and these arrive in the same table, already answered.

Enquiries arrive already qualified

The job, the area and the answers come across with the lead.

You are the first to respond

New enquiries raise a task the moment they land, so nothing sits unanswered.

Winning work compounds

Completed jobs and reviews improve where Matchouse places you next time.

Also on this screen

The small things that save the afternoon.

Saved views

The filters you use every Monday, kept as a view. Yours by default, shareable across the workspace when it is worth everyone seeing.

Search history

Every search you have run, with its result count, ready to re-run or delete. Repeatable work should not need remembering.

Export and integrate

CSV when you need it elsewhere, and a connection for your own tools when you would rather it did not leave the workspace at all.

Questions answered

About finding and verifying leads.

Where do the leads come from?

From open records first, and from your own accounts if you add them. Open sources include the Matchouse directory of vetted service businesses, OpenStreetMap trading addresses, Wikidata, company registries such as Companies House and OpenCorporates, postal and postcode lookups, sector registers such as food hygiene ratings, healthcare provider records and nonprofit filings, plus enrichment from the businesses' own websites. If you hold an account with Google Places, Yelp or Foursquare, connecting it adds their coverage on top. Each source can be switched off for an individual search.

Can I bring a list I already have?

Yes. Import a CSV and the same verification runs on it: every email address, telephone number and website is checked, so an old list arrives marked up rather than trusted. Imported records keep their source, so you can always tell what came from a search and what came from you.

How are contact details verified?

Email addresses are checked for a deliverable mailbox, telephone numbers for a valid and allocated line, and websites for a live response. Each is marked reachable, needs a check, or not reachable. Nothing that fails is silently dropped. It is kept and struck through, so you can see the business exists but cannot be reached that way.

Can I stop the same lead being imported twice?

Yes. A search can be set to exclude anything already in your workspace, so re-running a search monthly returns only what is genuinely new.

Is this compliant with data protection law?

The searches return business contact details published for the purpose of being contacted about work, and Bloc CRM records where each record came from and when. You remain the controller of the data in your workspace, and every record carries its source so you can answer questions about provenance. Marketing to those contacts is still subject to the UK GDPR and PECR, and remains your responsibility.

Can I export the results?

Yes, to CSV, with the columns you have chosen to show and the verification status against each channel included.

Run a search before you decide.

Create a workspace, pick a trade and a town, and see what comes back. It takes about four minutes and costs nothing.
